Tangled

Camryn first and only movie she has seen at the movie theatre is Tangled. She has loved everything about the movie since we saw it. She has a Tangled placemat and plate that she must eat with at every meal and she has a Tangled nightgown that she must sleep in everynight. We decided she needed to fill up her star chart in order for us to buy it for her. She earned stars for good behavior and for staying in her room until her green light went on in the morning telling her it was time to get up. She finally filled the chart up! She was so excited to finally watch her Tangled DVD!

My friend Christy was in town from New York visiting her sister Marci, who recently moved to Scottsdale. We haven't seen each other since my wedding 8 years ago. We met at Scottsdale Fashion Square and went to Olive and Ivy. It was so good to see her and catch up. A lot has changed since the last time I saw her. We are both moms now! I wish she lived closer, I would love to see her more often. I guess I will have to make a trip to New York!

Mountain to Fountain 500 meters

Derek was running in the Mountain to Fountain 15K today and they had a race for the kids. Camryn was very excited to run in a race just like her dad. She ran the whole way and said it was a lot of fun. She even got a ribbon afterwards.

Library Card

Camryn has been asking me to go to the library and today was the perfect time. Derek got home early so I was able to take her without Brandon. She was so excited to get her library card. She started grabbing lots of books to check out. I got her to decide on 11 different books before we left. 10 for her and 1 for her brother.

We walked home from school today and Camryn said to Brooklyn, "Let's hold hands." It was so cute that I had to get a picture.

Camryn has always loved to color but she has never colored a picture that looked like much. Today she colored this picture and told me it was a family. I was very impressed. It really did resemble people. Later on I asked who they were and she told me Grandpa Phil, Grandma Jean, Scott, Kristina, Will, Brooke, and her. She sure does love the Fousts! I can't blame her for that, they are pretty great!

Fun in Fountain Hills

We went out to Fountain Hills yesterday to visit Michelle and Ronnie and see their new natural food pet store and bakery Spike's Treats. We went to check out the parks by the store. The kids loved playing there. We will to visit more often!
