7 Months Old

Brandon just turned 7 months and is now sitting up on his own. He has 1 1/2 teeth and is really working on trying to crawl. He gets up on all fours and rocks back and forth but hasn't figured out how to move once he gets there. He loves his sister except when she colors on him or hits him over the head with sticks. He loves vegetables and isn't so crazy about fruit except when he is super hungry. We love him so much and we are excited to see him reach new milestones.

Little Keeper Sleeper

Lately I have been having a problem keeping Camryn in her pajamas while she is in her crib. She loves to take them off along with her diaper. I had had enough of cleaning up after her so I ordered these pajamas that do up in the back yesterday. My mom's neighbor's son invented these particular pajamas. Future Half Miler?

Most of you who know us know that we love to run. I ran the half mile in college and Derek started running when we met. After doing the neighborhood 5K a few weeks ago Derek decided he wanted to do a little more running. We all headed to the track one night and Camryn ran two laps around the track without us saying anything. She was very excited she could run like Daddy. Maybe she will take after me and become a half miler?

Brandon's a Big Boy Now!

We went out to eat with my family and Brandon really enjoyed sitting up like the rest of us. He is almost 7 months now and it is just starting to feel like we have two kids now instead of one kid and a baby. He is full of smiles and a lot of fun.

Easter Egg Hunt

Camryn had her first Easter egg hunt today at our neighborhood park. Some of the moms from our play group did a great job of organizing the fun activity for the kids. There were probably 10-15 kids out there and they all had a blast. Camryn filled her basket with mostly chocolate and decided to make it a lunch. So I guess we're calling this Easter Week with the excitement starting on Monday.

Phoenix Zoo

We have been wanting to take Camryn to the zoo for awhile now but there was never a good time. Derek woke up Sunday morning and said "lets go to the zoo today". I decided we better do it before it gets too hot. Camryn was most excited to see the zebras so we made that one of our first stops of the day.

It ended up being a fun day at the zoo. I can't believe how hot it felt already. I don't want summer to be here. I wish it could stay March forever.

Spring Fashion Show

I was getting all of Brandon's new clothes ready to wash when Camryn decided she had to try them on. Here she is modeling his new 9 month clothes. She could actually do up the button on the shorts, but the shirt was a little revealing. America's next top model?
