Derek took the kids to a festival at Dana's neighborhood today while I was at work. The kids enjoyed a train ride with Grandma and Grandpa.

We go to the park a lot to have a picnic. We met the Foust one day for a picnic and they had a picnic basket. Ever since then Camryn has wanted a picnic basket. We found one for her. She was so excited to pack it up and have her first picnic with it.

We went to Bounce U last week and Camryn had a blast! I love this picture! It captures how much fun she was having!

We had a great birthday dinner at Nando's for Grandma Jo. The kids were good the whole time which made it a lot more enjoyable. I was bribing Camryn with cake though!

We had Easter pictures taken on Saturday. I got a few pictures before we left.

Flashlight Easter Egg Hunt

Our neighborhood had a flashlight Easter egg hunt last week. Camryn had been excited for days! I didn't get many pictures while we were there because the eggs were already out and the hunt wasn't starting until it got dark so we had to chase Brandon around to stop him from opening all the eggs. It was the first year Camryn has gotten the concept of an Easter egg hunt and now she thinks Easter is over already! She will be excited when the Easter bunny comes!

Fight For Your Life Luekemia 5K

Derek won the 2nd annual Fight For Your Life Luekemia 5K at Freestone Park. We made a fun family day out of it. They had bounce houses for the kids and a pancake breakfast for everyone. We even got to see the Easter bunny! It was fun to see the kids cheering for their dad. The best part is that Derek won a free pair of shoes! Can't beat that!

Camryn started her first dance class this week. I wasn't sure how it would go. I didn't know if she would be too shy to go without me or I wasn't sure if she would stay interested and listen the whole time. Well, she went right in without hesitation and had a smile on her face the whole time. I wouldn't say she has any dance skills yet but she is excited to go back!

Tangled

Camryn first and only movie she has seen at the movie theatre is Tangled. She has loved everything about the movie since we saw it. She has a Tangled placemat and plate that she must eat with at every meal and she has a Tangled nightgown that she must sleep in everynight. We decided she needed to fill up her star chart in order for us to buy it for her. She earned stars for good behavior and for staying in her room until her green light went on in the morning telling her it was time to get up. She finally filled the chart up! She was so excited to finally watch her Tangled DVD!

My friend Christy was in town from New York visiting her sister Marci, who recently moved to Scottsdale. We haven't seen each other since my wedding 8 years ago. We met at Scottsdale Fashion Square and went to Olive and Ivy. It was so good to see her and catch up. A lot has changed since the last time I saw her. We are both moms now! I wish she lived closer, I would love to see her more often. I guess I will have to make a trip to New York!
